Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 15 May 2024 to Question 24903 on Poverty, if he will make an assessment of the potential merits of updating the baseline year for absolute poverty.

There are currently no plans to update the baseline year for absolute poverty.
