Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, if she will bring forward legislative proposals to establish an independent body to (a) identify and (b) monitor public health threats from defective household (i) boilers, (ii) water tanks and (iii) other products.

My Rt Hon Friend the Secretary of State does not currently plan to bring forward legislative proposals in this area.
