Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the effectiveness of standard 10-minute appointments with GPs.
This question was answered on 4th June 2019
No specific work has been done centrally to assess the effectiveness of the standard 10 minute consultation. However, there is no contractual obligation regarding the length of appointments in general practice.
