Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether his Department plans to make an estimate of the number of high-rise buildings with different forms of non-aluminium composite material cladding.

Government continues to work with stakeholders to gain a fuller understanding of the makeup and safety of high rise residential buildings and publishes monthly data. We will be consulting soon on proposed reforms to the building safety regime for high rise residential buildings. This will set out how we propose to take forward the recommendations from Dame Judith Hackitt’s Independent Review, which included recommendations on the future collection and availability of building safety information.
