To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment her Department has made of passenger numbers on peak Great Western Railway services between Kemble and London Paddington during the last 12 months.

There has been passenger growth on services between Kemble and London Paddington over the last year. Great Western Railway is responsible for ensuring that sufficient capacity is provided to meet passenger demand and there is regular engagement with the operator to review service provision.
