Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the (a) median and (b) average length in years is of clinical service contracts awarded to private providers in England.

NHS England and NHS Improvement have advised that this information is not held centrally.
Clinical commissioning groups and NHS England are responsible for awarding and holding contracts with providers for the services that they have a responsibility to commission.
