Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 4 April 2019 to Question 239242, whether paragraph 12.7 of Approved Document Part B Volume 2 (2006) applied to all key components of external wall systems between its publication in 2007 and the publication of the amendment to the 2013 Edition in December 2018.

I refer the honourable member to my answer of 21 March to Question UIN 233494. The guidance in approved documents should be considered in full and in the context to the requirements of the regulations themselves.
