The Department will have discussed the Approved Document B guidance in general with the construction industry after it was published but does not hold records of all specific issues which may have been discussed. The Building Control Alliance published its technical guidance note 18 on Use of Combustible Cladding Materials on Buildings Exceeding 18 metres in Height in June 2015 which provided additional clarification.
