Over the coming months NHS England will be working with clinical commissioning group pathology service commissioners to discuss the development of a joint policy proposition relating to testing for Lynch syndrome that takes into account the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance and helps to ensure that patients and their families receive the genetic test where appropriate. As part of the development work we will explore how best to support implementation during 2019/20.
