Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many meetings he held with his Department’s Chief Scientific Adviser between 1 December 2018 and 28 February 2019.

The Secretary of State for Transport has had no meetings with the Department’s Chief Scientific Adviser between 1 December 2018 and 28 February 2019.

As Minister of State, I meet with the Department’s Chief Scientific Advisor regularly and have had multiple meetings with him since December 2018 to discuss topics including the Department’s evidence and analysis strategy, the Future of Mobility Grand Challenge and the Government Office for Science’s Foresight Report on the Future of Mobility.
