The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has received published and unpublished evidence on the efficacy of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination in males.

The JCVI will only be in a position to make a decision on whether to recommend extending the HPV vaccination programme to adolescent boys once it is satisfied that it has reviewed and considered all the necessary evidence and information, including the potential impact and cost-effectiveness of such a programme.
