Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, whether the cost effectiveness modelling for the HPV vaccine and adolescent boys will take account of the number of men who are likely to have sex with unvaccinated women both in the UK and abroad.
This question was answered on 5th March 2015
The analysis will include the transmission impact of men who are likely to have sex with unvaccinated (and vaccinated) women in the United Kingdom. It is unlikely the transmission impact of men who are likely to have sex with unvaccinated (and vaccinated) women outside the UK can be usefully estimated.
