Entry Clearances: Overseas Students

Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people who entered the UK on a student visa were (a) detained and (b) removed from the UK in each year since 2014.
This question was answered on 28th February 2019
The Home Office does not hold the information requested centrally. Providing the information requested would require a trawl through Immigration databases, which could only be done at disproportionate cost.
