Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what recent representations he has received on the possible privatisation of the (a) National Gallery and (b) Imperial War Museum.
This question was answered on 9th February 2015
The Department has received letters from the public regarding the possible outsourcing of visitor services at both the National Gallery and the Imperial War Museum. The Department was made aware in 2014 of both Museums' plans to consult on outsourcing some visitor services.
