With reference to para 2.246 in the Autumn Statement, £4.4m has been allocated to tourism in 15/16 and details will be announced in due course. Plans for spending beyond 15/16 will be determined in the next Spending Review.

This Government recognises the importance of the tourism sector in delivering jobs and growth across the UK. It launched the GREAT campaign to capitalise on the opportunity of London 2012, and has secured investment of over £165m to market Great British holiday destinations at home and abroad.
