Abortion: Gender Selection

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, with reference to section 84 of the Serious Crime Act 2015, what plans he has made for the assessment of the evidence of termination of pregnancy on the grounds of the sex of the foetus in England, Wales and Scotland.

The Department is planning a number of different approaches in order to make the assessment required by the Act.
