To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, what research his Department has commissioned on the contribution of testing households products and their ingredients on animals to the UK economy; and if he will make a statement.

The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills has not commissioned research on the contribution of testing household products and their ingredients on animals to the UK economy.

Animal testing in the UK is licensed through the Home Office.
