The Department for Education does not hold information in the form requested.

Any tuition centre offering education in excess of 19 hours per week would need to be registered as an independent school if there were five or more pupils of compulsory school age. When the Department becomes aware that a tuition centre may meet the criteria for registration, it commissions a visit by Ofsted to find out if a school is being conducted. If the criteria for registration as an independent school are met, it will be registered provided it also meets all the relevant standards; if not it must close down or the proprietor will be prosecuted.
