Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether it is her Department’s policy to sanction claimants of jobseeker's allowance who decline to accept a job with a zero hours contract; and if she will make a statement.

Jobseeker's Allowance claimants are not required to apply for zero hours contract jobs and will not be sanctioned if they refuse an offer of a job on a zero hours contract.
