Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment he has made of links between Boko Haram and Islamic State.

Boko Haram and ISIL have made reference to one another in their propaganda but there has been no evidence of strategic links between the groups. However, ISIL are seeking to influence other groups beyond the Middle East through their actions and propaganda.
