Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people have been detained in the UK under counter-terrorism legislation as a result of links with Islamic State in the last 12 months.

We face a real and serious threat from international terrorism, including from individuals associated with the ISIL. So far this year more than 100 people have been arrested on suspicion of terrorist offences related to Syria.
