Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what estimate she has made of the number of dogs born in the UK (a) within and (b) outside the scope of breeding licensing in each of the last five years.

The Government has not made any assessment of the numbers of dogs born within or outside the licensing regime.
