Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the answer of 10 July 2026 to Question 15242 on Universities: Admissions, whether TUNDRA can be used to determine (a) whether an individual has an offer of admission and (b) the academic requirements for an offer.

TUNDRA Tracking Underrepresentation by Area (TUNDRA) uses linked individual-level data on state-funded mainstream school pupils in England to identify areas with lower rates of progression to higher education (HE). It does not contain information on whether an individual has received an offer of admission to HE or on the academic requirements associated with an offer.

The entry requirements needed to access a course and individual admissions decisions are matters for autonomous HE providers.
