To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, under what timetable electrical interconnectors will be allowed to participate in the capacity market auctions on an equal basis with domestic generators.

The Government has confirmed that interconnection will be eligible to participate in the Capacity Market auction from 2015 onwards.
