Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment he has made of the reasons for the increase in the number of abortions (a) for Down's Syndrome, (b) registered under statutory grounds and (c) since his Department's last report.

These increases are likely to be as a result of improved data reporting.
