Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, in which areas NHS England commissioned immunisation services from community pharmacies in the 2013-14 financial year; what estimate he has made of the number of community pharmacies which were commissioned to deliver immunisation services in each area; what estimate he has made of the number of doses of vaccine which were delivered though community pharmacies in the 2013-14 financial year in each area; and if he will make a statement.

Information is not held centrally by NHS England on immunisation services commissioned locally from community pharmacists.

NHS England has advised that such immunisation services are commissioned by NHS England, through service level agreements, as local enhanced services within the community pharmacy contractual framework. As this type of service is commissioned according to local need, actual payments will vary.
