Question to the Northern Ireland Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, how much her Department spent on the purchase of televisions in (a) 2013 and (b) 2014 to date.

My Department spent £3,543.20 on new televisions in 2013 when the Northern Ireland Office moved from Millbank to new offices at 1 Horse Guards Road. This move will deliver a saving to the taxpayer in the region of £1m per year.

There has been no expenditure on the purchase of televisions in 2014 to date.
