Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, for what reason the NHS Accelerator Fund and the development project were not put out to public tender.

We understand that the NHS Accelerator Fund is a NHS Confederation-led initiative and matters relating to its development and operation are for the NHS Confederation. The Department and NHS England have not been involved in the development of this fund.
