Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, which Minister in his Department approved the transfer of commissioning responsibility for NHS Innovations hubs from the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement to strategic health authorities in 2009.

It is a matter of public record thatthese issues fell within the portfolio of the then Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Health (the Rt. hon. the Lord Darzi of Denham KBE).
