Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what regulatory oversight from which body there will be of the planned rail infrastructure alliance between Network Rail and West Coast Trains Ltd.

The alliance between Network Rail and West Coast Trains Limited will involve closer working and collaboration rather than an infrastructure alliance. Regulation of Network Rail is a matter for the Office of Rail Regulation.
