Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many responses her Department has received to its consultation entitled Firearms licensing: a consultation on recommendations for changes made to the Home Office, which closed on 23 August 2023.

We will be publishing the Government response shortly to the consultation paper ‘Firearms Licensing: a consultation on recommendations for changes made to the Home Office’, which was published by the Home Office on 29 June 2023.

In the Government response, and the Written Ministerial Statement to be made when the response is published, we will provide a detailed account of the number of responses received. The Government response will also set out what action the Government intends to take following the consultation.
