To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how many staff of his Department have (a) left his Department and (b) been seconded from his Department to work for the Building Research Establishment in each of the last five years .

The Department is unable to confirm the number of staff that have left permanently and subsequently joined the Building Research Establishment, as this information is not held.

We can confirm that the Department has not seconded any staff from this organisation to work for the Building Research Establishment during the last five years.
