Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether the payment of £97,000 made by his Department to the Third Millennium Education Trust on 29 November 2012 was a grant secured through the Sponsor Capacity Fund.

Third Millennium Education Trust was awarded £97,000 during the 2012/13 sponsor capacity funding round. The information is published online here: www.gov.uk/government/collections/dfe-department-and-executive-agency-spend-over-25-000

These funds were subsequently returned to the Department by the sponsor, Zail Enterprises Ltd.
