To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether her Department holds regional data on the number of children with SEND who are not in formal education.

The department holds data on the number of children and young people with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan, including the setting in which the child or young person is typically educated or where they are not in education or training for any reason.
