Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he plans to implement a U.K.-wide mental health emergency hotline service.
There are no plans to do so as health services are a devolved matter.
We are working towards making emergency mental health support available through NHS 111 across England by April 2024. Linking the 24/7 urgent mental health helplines that are already available in all areas of the country through to NHS 111 will provide a consistent route for people to access support.
