Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps their Department is taking to improve the response time to FOI requests.

For the calendar year 2022 and 2023 to date Defra has maintained a high level of performance in terms of responding to freedom of information (FOI) requests.

The Department continually monitors and looks for ways to maintain its FOI performance.
