Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will publish an Impact Assessment for the changes outlined in the Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules published by her Department on 17 July 2023.

There is likely to be no, or no significant, direct impact on business, charities, or voluntary bodies as a result of the changes to the Student route. Any impacts, including significant impacts on universities and the public sector, are being assessed for the purposes of the Impact Assessment which has been prepared to assess the impact of these Rules changes.

The Impact Assessment is still to be finalised and is subject to final Departmental clearances and will be published in due course.
