Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 17 May 2018 to Question 142774 on Clinical Priorities Advisory Group, what progress has been made by NHS England on the development of the new pilot assurance process to assess whether new treatments are being equitably provided to patients across England.

NHS England is currently working with a selection of providers and commissioners to understand what local areas have put in place to effectively implement clinical policies. Following the discussions NHS England will consider what may be needed to support effective policy implementation.
