Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many cases of Echinococcus Multilocularis were reported in each year from 2011 to 2022.

From the 1^st January 2021 to the 31^st December 2022 there have been no cases of Echinococcus multilocularis detected in the UK fox population, based on annual, randomised, opportunistic testing for fox carcases to give a 95% confidence of detecting 1% prevalence.
