Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how many tenants have successfully claimed compensation from their landlord following the landlord’s failure to protect the tenant’s deposit in each of the last five years.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government does not collect data on such court cases.
