Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what projection her Department has made of the amount it will pay in universal credit in the 2018-19 financial year.

At the Spring Statement, the Office for Budget Responsibility forecast that DWP will spend £8bn on Universal Credit in 2018/19, this is in line with our expectations. This includes an increase of £130m, to account for the cost of abolishing waiting days.
