To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, whether he plans to increase funding for renewable energy sources in Portsmouth South constituency.

The Contracts for Difference scheme, the Government’s main mechanism for supporting low carbon generation, is awarded through a competitive process, ensuring that the most cost-effective projects are supported regardless of their location.
