Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many claimants of universal credit were sanctioned in each month of the last year, and how many of those cases involved another person in work in that household.
The information requested on the number of sanctioned cases with another person in work in that household is not readily available and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.
The latest sanctions statistics can be accessed at: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/benefit-sanctions-statistics-to-january-2018
