Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, pursuant to the Answer of 30 June 2026 to Question 13075 on Electric Vehicles: Tyres, if he will make an assessment of the availability of butyl for tyres for electric vehicles other than from fossil fuel sources and the availability of an alternative for butyl in the manufacture of tyres for use in electric vehicles.

I refer the Rt hon Member to the answer I gave to him on 30 June to question UIN 13075.
