To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 1 July 2026, to Question 12790, on Civil Service: Dual Nationals, and to the answer of 30 June 2026, to Question 13160, on Cabinet office: Civil Servants, for what reasons the posts in the EU Relations Secretariat are non-reserved.

The majority of posts in the EU Relations Secretariat are not in the categories capable of being reserved for UK nationals, as specified in Section 3 of the Civil Service Nationality Rules.
