This proposed airspace change is being considered under the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) CAP 1616 airspace change process. Progress can be monitored on the CAA’s website at the following link entitled “London Luton – departure procedures”:

http://www.caa.co.uk/Commercial-industry/Airspace/Airspace-change/Decisions-from-2018/London-Luton-Departure-Procedures/

At present, the expectation is that the airport might consult on this proposal next summer.
