To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when the timetable is for the appointment of a Head Commissioner for the Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise; and if he will make a statement.

The recruitment process to appoint a Head Commissioner for the Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise is under way, and an announcement will be made as soon as an appointment is confirmed.
