Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the average compensation payment was to people wrongly detained by the Home Office in each of the last three years.
This question was answered on 4th July 2018
The average compensation payment for wrongful detention is calculated as a ‘Mean’ and a ‘Median’ for FY2015/16 and FY2016/17. These are listed below:
