Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether he has discussed with Cabinet colleagues the waste and energy requirements for new housing developments; and if he will make a statement.

The Government does not comment on Cabinet discussions. The Secretary of State along with several other Cabinet Ministers attended the inaugural meeting of the cross-Government Housing Implementation Taskforce chaired by the Prime Minister.
