To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many passports were wrongly issued and subsequently cancelled or suspended in the last year.

Her Majesty’s Passport Office is unable to provide data on how many passports were wrongly issued and subsequently either cancelled or superseded in the last year. This information is not readily available and can only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
